See the solar eclipse at Sugarloaf

Monday August 21st -The big news is the solar eclipse on Monday, Aug. 21, and you can join others for this event at the observatory. In this area, the eclipse begins at 9:01 a.m. and ends at 11:37 a.m. This will be an 82 percent partial eclipse with the maximum coverage of the sun at 10:15 a.m. WARNING – only use approved safe viewing methods to observe the eclipse to avoid eye damage or blindness. This event is free.
