California Equestrian Park and Event Center proposal presentation
Monday May 21st - 6:30pmCalifornia Equestrian Park and Event Center (CEPEC) is hosting an informational presentation for members of the public to hear about and comment on their bid to use Sonoma Developmental Center lands. According to CEPAC, the proposal for an equestrian center would preserve and maintain open space for hiking, horse riding, and wildlife, create self-sustaining revenue, and provide safe recreational venues, education, and exhibits of local wildlife, as well as the history of Sonoma County’s equines and the SDC. CEPEC states that their proposal is based on input from hundreds of Sonoma County residents and organizations and has been submitted to the State of California.
This presentation will take place on Monday, May 21, at 6:30 p.m. at the Dunbar School multi-purpose room, 11700 Dunbar Road, Glen Ellen. Several speakers will describe the history of the project, community participation, its services and facilities, and how its objectives will be reached.
