North Sonoma Mountain/Jack London shuttle service
Saturday June 2017 -
Want to do a thru-hike from North Sonoma Mountain Regional Park to Jack London State Park or vice versa? Mark your calendar for June 10 and catch a ride on the Sugar Shuttle.
Every half hour the shuttle will leave from either North Sonoma Mountain (on the hour) or Jack London State Park (on the half hour). Make a reservation and then ride to the other end of the trail, or hike and ride back. Riding first and hiking back to your car is the easiest way – no worries about how long you take to finish your hike. First pick up is at 8 a.m. at North Sonoma Mountain Park and runs through 10:30 a.m. last pick up at Jack London Park. Reservations are recommended, but you can ride on a space available basis as well.
The hike is about 9 miles one-way, with nearly 2,000 feet of climbing, so bring your sunscreen and lots of water. It should take four to five hours.
There is no charge for the ride, but suggested donation is $10.
The Sugar Shuttle is operated by Team Sugarloaf/Sonoma Ecology Center.
