Talking tourism with SR Newcomers

On Sept. 12, the Santa Rosa Newcomers Club welcomes Nicole Braden, director of community engagement and operations for Sonoma County Tourism. She is the creator of the “Let’s Talk Tourism” program, a series of conversations to discuss Sonoma County tourism and lodging, and oversees the Certified Tourism Ambassador program, designed to improve visitation into a positive experience. Braden will talk about the wine industry, jobs, tourism and what lies ahead in Sonoma County.

Lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. at the Quail Inn, 7025 Oakmont Dr. Guests are welcome. Please mail your $25 check (including your phone number and choice of chicken piccata or seasonal vegetable Wellington) before Sept. 5 to Santa Rosa Newcomers, P.O. Box 3978, Santa Rosa, CA 95402.
