Kenwood Community Church will bless your pets

Kenwood Community Church

Sunday October 8th 2017 - 4:00pm to

A Blessing of the Animals service will take place at the Kenwood Community Church on Sunday, Oct. 8 at 4 p.m. This service focuses on the public expression of the bond we have with the animals in our lives.

You are invited to bring any living creatures, such as cats, dogs, birds, reptiles and fish. Animals should be on a leash or in a pen for the safety of other animals. If you are unable to bring an animal you love, bring a photo.

To bless is more than an expression of goodwill and caring. It means that health, healing, and life are being passed from God to the benefit of the animal in its relationship with its human partners.

The service will be conducted by Pastor Jim Fish. Refreshments will be served for both humans and animals.

Kenwood Community Church is located on Channing Row next to Plaza Park, off of Warm Springs Road.
