Rotary Club of Glen Ellen Kenwood meeting

Kenwood Depot

Wednesday February 7th 2018 - 5:30pm to

The Rotary Club of Glen Ellen-Kenwood is comprised of men and women who want to make an impact on their communities. If you would like to find out more about the club, come to a meeting and see what it’s all about. The club meets the first and third Wednesday of the month, 5:30-7 p.m. at the Kenwood Depot. Upcoming speakers are:

Feb. 7 – Julie Atwood, HALTER Project. Realizing that many communities lack comprehensive plans, resources, and trained responders to address the life-saving needs of large animals in an emergency, Atwood founded Horse and Livestock Team Emergency Response (HALTER) to raise awareness and promote emergency preparedness throughout the west, where wildfires, floods and earthquakes are a constant threat.

Feb. 21 – Ky Boyd, Rialto Theaters. Boyd comes to the club every year to engage in a free-wheeling discussion about the upcoming Oscar awards. Boyd delves into the details about who might win the coveted gold statuettes.
