Train to be a ropes course leader

Looking for a fun and challenging outdoor activity? Interested in developing leadership skills while providing community service to diverse populations? Train to be a Challenge Sonoma Adventure Ropes Course leader.

Challenge Sonoma leaders are community volunteers who lead participants through a sequence of activities composed of logs, platforms, and ropes, offering both physical and mental challenges to all ages.

The Challenge Sonoma course is located in the Sonoma Mountain Range in Eldridge (Sonoma Developmental Center). Applicants must be at least 15 years old. Cost is $125, which includes over 50 hours of leader training. You will be responsible for the cost of fingerprinting. Partial scholarships are available.

Training dates are April 12-15, and May 10-13, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
