Sugarloaf State Park

Sunday April 15th 2018 - 10:00am to

Enjoy some fungi fun with local expert George Riner on Sunday, April 15, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Fungi are masters of opportunity. Even after a fire, the spores are in the air and find an environment where the local fungal species – i.e. competition – have been greatly reduced. These may show themselves in surprising ways. Be prepared for 2 miles of walking over moderate terrain. Meet at the Visitors Center. Registration is limited. Cost is $10 per person; parking fees apply. Tickets at www.brownpapertickets.com, search “Sugarloaf.”
