More Joy at Berger Center

Oakmont Berger Center

Thursday May 3rd 2018 - 7:00pm to

Oakmont’s very own folk music quartet, More Joy, will perform at the Berger Center on Thursday, May 3. The event, from 7 to 9 p.m., is sponsored by Oakmont Rainbow Women to raise money for the YWCA Safe House of Sonoma County, a confidential shelter for women and children who are victims of domestic violence.

Ann Benson and Iris Harrell revived their old folk music life when they retired to Oakmont in 2015. Joined by Chris Finn on bass and vocals, and guitar and mandolin player Topher Gayle, the quartet will offer songs and stories on the theme “A Place Called Home.”

Tickets are $20 general, $15 for Rainbow Women club members. Contact Iris for tickets at morejoy43@gmail.com.
