Ride the Sugar Shuttle


Saturday May 12th 2018 - 9:00am to

Catch a ride on the Sugar Shuttle to thru-hike from Sugarloaf State Park to Hood Mountain Regional Park’s Los Alamos Road entrance. On May 12 and 13, the shuttle will depart every other hour, 9 a.m.-12 p.m., from Sugarloaf (first), and the Los Alamos Road parking lot (not Pythian Road). Make a reservation, ride to the trail’s other end, hike back, or vice versa. Expect a 7.5-mile one-way hike that includes 2,000 feet of climbing, takes 4-5 hours and crosses some of Sonoma County’s most important creeks – including critical steelhead habitat.
