Fundraiser for Trione-Annadel

Friedman Event Center

Saturday June 30th 2018 - 5:30pm to

On Saturday, June 30, Friends of Trione-Annadel State Park (FoTASP) is having its first annual fundraising dinner to support the park, and the public is invited. The dinner and auctions will take place at Friedman Event Center, 4676 Mayette Ave. in Santa Rosa. There will be hosted cocktails starting at 5:30 p.m., followed by a buffet dinner and park presentations at 7 p.m.

Presentations will include post-fire drone video of the extensive park damage by Jeff Stein, park natural history by Stephen Nett, current park conditions by Vince Anibale (District State Park supervisor), and a review of specific park projects by Dan Stamps (FoTASP president). Following the presentations, Dr. Chris Carter will conduct a live auction.

Friends of Trione-Annadel State Park is a newly formed 501(c)3 whose mission is to generate funds to repair, maintain and develop projects in the park. Because California State Parks are under constant financial pressure due to state budgets, FoTASP was created to enhance the safety, sustainability and accessibility of the park now and for future generations. With the Nuns Fire burning 63 percent of the park in October, the need is greater than ever.

Dinner is $125 per person, $150 after June 1. Tables of eight are available for $950. Sponsor memberships are also available. For more information or to register for the event, to sponsor a table at the event, or to simply make a credit card donation to Friends of Trione-Annadel State Park, go to www.fotasp.com, or call 543-6264.
