Lifeís short; play the ukulele

Friday July 6th 2018 - to

Back, by popular request, the Oakmont Ukesters Club is offering its Beginning Basics for the Ukulele class on Fridays, starting on July 6. Each class is composed of five sessions that will prepare you to play the ukulele with spirit. You will learn the parts of the uke, how to tune it, strumming patterns, and chords that will allow you to play fun songs. Cost of the series is $11, which helps defray cost of all the handouts you will receive.

Dates are Fridays, July 6, 13, 20, 27, and Aug. 3, 10:30 a.m. to noon. If interested, please call Linda at 978-2790. The location of the tutorial will be given together with advice about how to get a ukulele if you do not own one. Youíll need a ukulele and three-ring binder for the class.

You do not have to wait to begin having fun with the ukulele. The Oakmont Ukesters Club invites you to come join them each Tuesday morning, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the Oakmont Gardens Crafts Room.
