A mindful walk

Explore the concept of “walking meditation” on a relaxed 1.5-mile moderate hike to Jack London's lake with guide and author Jeff Falconer. If you choose, you can extend your mindful experience another 3 miles.
Walking meditation has been practiced for centuries in many parts of the world. It has been used as a healing tool by many spiritual and religious traditions and is enjoyed by people who simply want to commune with nature and deepen their experience of the outdoors. Falconer has practiced meditation for many years. He spent time at an ashram, a spiritual hermitage, in India in the early 70s, is a Tai Chi enthusiast, and an avid and mindful hiker.
Meet in the ranch parking lot. Limited to 20 participants. Admission is $15 per person (includes $10 parking fee) and can be arranged in advance online.
