Buck Institute speaker at next Cal Alumni dinner

The next Cal Alumni Club Saddle Club Dinner will be on Thursday, July 19, with cocktails starting at 5 p.m. and buffet dinner at 6 p.m. The featured speaker will be Dr. Mark Watson of the Buck Institute in Novato. He will discuss how the centerís research in the field of aging impacts the local community, and the world. Learn more about the center and its goal to increase the human life span with longer years to live a healthy life.

Dinner will be St. Louis pork ribs, mashed potatoes and gravy, seasonal vegetables with a green salad, and for dessert three-berry crisp with whipped cream. The price is $36 and includes cocktails, tax, and gratuity.

Reservations and prepayment must be made in advance and are due by July 15. To make reservations please contact Arlen Mills at 539-0509. The Wild Oak Saddle Club is located at 550 White Oak Dr.
