Cal Alumni Club features ‘The Math Guy’

The next Cal Alumni Club Dinner will be held on Thursday, Aug. 16 at Oakmont’s Wild Oak Saddle Club, with cocktails starting at 5 p.m. and a buffet dinner at 6 p.m. 

The speaker is NPR’s “Math Guy,” Dr. Keith Devlin, a Stanford mathematician, popular science writer, and fellow of the World Economic Forum and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. He will discuss how the field of mathematics has changed, how technology can improve math education and what comes next.
