Emergency response, CPR training in Glen Ellen

Sonoma Valley Fire & Rescue Authority will host three SCOPE (Sonoma Citizens Organized to Prepare for Emergencies) trainings in March, April and May. The SCOPE program, geared towards residents and the public, includes emergency response, community preparedness, utility safety, and fire prevention. Hands Only CPR training will teach you what to do until help arrives, and includes Automated External Defibrillator (AED) familiarization.

The SCOPE program includes a three-hour presentation followed by a two-hour, walk-in Hands Only CPR training session.

At the Glen Ellen Fire Station, 13445 Arnold Dr., the SCOPE presentation will be offered 9 a.m.-12 p.m., followed by CPR 2-4 p.m. on Saturday March 9, Saturday April 13, and Saturday May 25. The same program and times will be offered at Sonoma Valley’s Fire Station One, 630 2nd St. in Sonoma on Saturday, March 2, Sunday, April 7, and Sunday, May 19.
