Intermediate Hiking for Fitness

Sugarloaf State Park

Saturday March 9th 2019 - 10:00am to

10 a.m.

During this eight-week Intermediate Hiking for Fitness Program, leaders will guide hikers on a series of hikes with the challenge increasing each week. On March 2, hike the two-mile Waterfall Trail loop. On March 9, hike the Vista Trail loop (3.6 miles). Leaders will have group discussions about gear, hydration, hiking poles, first aid, pacing, etc. The groupís final hike aims for Bald Mountain, where hikers can enjoy stunning vistas. Hikes will start at 9 a.m. The hiking series costs $80, or free (plus free parking) for hikers with a ParkRx from a Sonoma County Medical Provider.
