How to Read the Bible: Learning from Richard Rohr

In other news, the Rev. Donna Ross, former Rector at Christ Church, Oberlin (OH) and St. Paul’s, Cambria, will lead a class on “How to Read the Bible: Learning from Richard Rohr.” Rohr is a Franciscan priest and the founder of the Center for Action and Contemplation in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The class begins on May 8, and participants will read one chapter a week from Rohr’s four-chapter book, What Do We Do with the Bible? Readings will be paired with group reflections on Scripture. Please read chapter one in preparation for the first class. Classes will be on Wednesdays, May 8, 15, 22, and 29, 10-11:30 a.m. For more information and to get a copy of the book ($10), please call Donna Ross at 579-6871.
