Emergency, CPR training classes

Wednesday May 1st 2019 - to

Sonoma Valley Fire & Rescue Authority will host SCOPE (Sonoma Citizens Organized to Prepare for Emergencies) trainings in May.

The SCOPE program, geared toward the public, includes emergency response, community preparedness, utility safety, and fire prevention. Hands-only CPR training will teach you what to do until help arrives, and includes Automated External Defibrillator (AED) familiarization.

The class will be a three-hour presentation followed by a two-hour, walk-in Hands-only CPR training session.

On May 25, the SCOPE presentation will be offered, 9 a.m.-12 p.m., followed by CPR 2-4 p.m. at the Glen Ellen Fire Station, 13445 Arnold Dr. The same program and times will be offered at Sonoma Valley’s Fire Station 1, 630 2nd St. in Sonoma on Sunday, May 19. For more information go to svfra.org or call 996-2102.
