Public invited to annual State Parks meeting
It has been a little over six years since qualified nonprofits entered into operating agreements with California State Parks to manage parks that were slated for closure in July 2012. These nonprofit organizations envisioned a future of public-private partnerships where the expertise of each of the partners is used to create management models that best serve the citizens of California.
Jack London Park Partners, Team Sugarloaf and California State Parks welcome and encourage the public to attend an annual meeting on Dec. 19, noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Sonoma Community Center, to discuss the operating agreements for Jack London Park Partners and Team Sugarloaf. There will be a review of the past year’s accomplishments and highlights of where the partnership has proven valuable.
Financial reports from operators can be found on their respective websites at www.jacklondonpark.com and wwwsugarloafpark.org.
Please direct park-specific questions to the appropriate contact above.
The Sonoma Community Center is located at 276 East Napa St., Sonoma.
