Debris removal information meeting in Sonoma

In coordination with state and federal partners, the County of Sonoma will hold a community meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2. The meeting will be held at the Sonoma Veterans Memorial Hall, located at 126 1st St. West, in Sonoma.

The meeting will include subject matter experts from the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES), the Environmental Protection Agency, the Army Corps of Engineers, and the Sonoma County Department of Health Services. Presentations will be targeted at responding to the most frequently asked questions around the debris removal process. The public is encouraged to go to www.sonomacountyrecovers.org/debris-removal to access a survey and submit questions prior to the meeting.

After the presentations the public will have the opportunity to speak to local, state, and federal representatives to ask additional questions regarding their specific needs.
