Very special delivery...

On the morning of Friday, Nov. 24, Julie Shaw (left) and Paul Nunez drove two hours from the Northeast San Jose Costco to deliver 117 frozen Butterball turkeys donated to the Glen Ellen Forum. The turkeys will be stored at the Glen Ellen Village Market until the Forum’s Free Community Holiday Dinner on Sunday, Dec. 3. Weber has donated 30 Weber kettle grills and charcoal to barbecue 30 turkeys and Rich Little has offered his grill to roast several more. Valley of the Moon Winery will be hosting the event, which will have two seatings, at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., by reservation only. The kettle grills and lots of frozen turkeys will be raffled off or given to fire victims. Photo by Leslie Vaughn
