VOM Rotary hosts A Taste for Oakmont

Valley of the Moon (VOM) Rotary Club is planning a party/fundraiser for Oct. 4. “A Taste for Oakmont” will feature dancing, with live music by Black Cat and Rodoggs Zydeco Band and great southern food like jambalaya, dirty rice, corn bread, salad, and bread pudding, prepared by Maria Carrillo High School culinary students. Libations for purchase include Lagunitas IPA and Woodfour IPA on tap, local wines, or bring your own and pay a corkage fee.

A Taste for Oakmont will take place at the Berger Center starting at 5 p.m., and is open to Oakmont residents and their guests. Tickets are $45. The event will support The VOM Rotary’s many local and worldwide projects.
