SIR #92 to hear from Spring Lake Village executive director

Have you wondered what’s been going on at Spring Lake Village on Montgomery Dr. for the past two and a half years? Why has traffic in front of the Village so frequently been backed up? On Oct. 14, Spring Lake Village’s Executive Director Sharon York will explain.

For the past seven years York has served as the executive director at Spring Lake Village, the Episcopal Senior Communities not-for-profit provider for housing and services to seniors. She will discuss the mission and objectives of Spring Lake Village, campus demographics (size, population, and facilities), programs offered, why Spring Lake Village embarked on such a major renovation, and address questions from the audience.

SIR Branch #92 meets on the second Tuesday of each month at the Oakmont Berger Center, 6637 Oakmont Dr. Social hour starts at 11 a.m. with lunch at noon, catered by Cafe Europe. Oakmont men interested in attending this presentation and/or SIR membership should contact George Keller at 539-7618.
