Quarryhill fundraiser aimed at youth science education

Quarryhill Botanical Garden

Saturday May 16th 2015 - 5:30pm to

On May 16, from 5:30 to 8 p.m., Quarryhill Botanical Garden in Glen Ellen is hosting its 3rd Annual “Wild Collections, Expeditions for Education” fundraiser.

Demand has risen for students to participate in this science education program, and Quarryhill has even had to turn away classrooms. The hope is to raise enough money through the May 16 event to expand their education program to serve more students and schools.

Party goers will be greeted with champagne and hors d’oeuvres as they stroll around the beautiful garden and listen to the sounds of running water and smooth jazz. Dinner will be an Asian-inspired feast, followed by a Fund-A-Need appeal to benefit Quarryhill’s education program.

Tickets are $125 for Quarryhill members, $145 nonmembers. Call 996-3166 or go to www.quarryhillbg.org.
