Jack London wildflower hike


Jack London State Park

Spring is in bloom at Jack London State Historic Park in Glen Ellen and you can enjoy the wildflowers in full glory from the parkís many trails.

On Saturday, April 2, 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m., park naturalist John Lynch leads a moderately paced, 12-mile nature hike that involves some elevation gain. The group will hike up the new Eliot Loop East Slope Trail to enjoy spectacular panoramic views of Sonoma Valley. Expect to see carpets of California Poppies and Lupines at the top and a variety of wildflowers along the trail.

All hikes limited to 15 participants. Admission is $10, plus an additional $10 parking fee. Meet in the Ranch parking lot of Jack London State Park, 2400 London Ranch Road, Glen Ellen. Heavy rain cancels, check website at www.jacklondonpark.com.
