Trail work at Sugarloaf


Sugarloaf State Park

Saturday July 2nd 2016 - 9:00am to

Saturday, July 2, from 9 a.m. to about 1 p.m. is a Sonoma County Trails Council volunteer trail work day at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. Work will be continuing on the stairway (to heaven) on the Vista Trail. Meet at 9 a.m. at the white barn inside the park at the end of Adobe Canyon Road. At the entry kiosk, tell them you are a volunteer for trail work. Parking passes will be provided, as will tools and Clif bars, along with beverages and snacks afterwards.

Bring gloves, a hat and water that you can take with you while working, and wear long pants, boots or hiking shoes, and sunscreen. No experience necessary. Tools are available, and there will be trained crew leaders with tasks for all strengths and sizes of volunteers.
