Take a 2- to 3-mile hike at Hood Mountain Regional Park during a guided wildflower walk on March 28, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Look for spring wildflowers like Diogenes’ lanterns, checker lilies, scarlet fritillary and other remarkable blooms. The hike covers some steep terrain. Wear sturdy shoes, bring water, and a hat or sunscreen. Meet at the Pythian Road entrance. Free. Parking $7 or free for Regional Parks members.
