Wildflower hike on East Slope Trail


Jack London State Park

Join Jack London State Park naturalist John Lynch for a moderately paced 12-mile nature hike on Saturday, April 1, on the Eliot Loop Trail. Expect fantastic views and an abundance of California poppies, lupines and an array of wildflowers in bloom, not to mention wildlife you may see along the way. The outing is limited to 20 participants.

Outing runs 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. It’s a moderate hike with elevation gain, suitable for ages 15 and up. Wear sturdy shoes, bring water, lunch, and binoculars. With the abundant rain be prepared for muddy trails. Heavy rain cancels.

Meet at the Ranch parking lot of Jack London State Historic Park, 2400 London Ranch Road in Glen Ellen.

Admission is $15 per person and includes parking. Make arrangements online at jacklondonpark.com/east-slope-nature-hike.html.com.
