Adventure Writing Camp for middle schoolers

Jack London State Park

Monday July 17th 2017 - 9:00am to

If your child is a natural storyteller or loves to create images with words, Jack’s London’s Adventure Writing Camp is the “write” choice. Set in an inspirational landscape of historical buildings and redwood forests, this week-long day camp offers a fun and active exploration into the creative writing process. Often highlighting his travels and adventures, Jack London composed exciting stories that have inspired millions.

The camp is geared toward kids entering sixth to eighth grade, with a schedule of daily hiking adventures, group games, nature journaling, and other writing-based activities that are designed to support them in developing rich storytelling skills. This energetic camp is held entirely outdoors so come prepared for summer weather and active fun.

Camp sessions run Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Three sessions are available: July 10-14, July 17-21, and July 24-28. Registration is open now at jacklondonpark.com/writing-camp.html. Cost is $300.
