An evening of night photography

Jack London State Park

Saturday November 18th 2017 - 4:00pm to

Experience the park as few do, chasing the light as it wanes and night descends on Jack Londonís Beauty Ranch. Photographer Ray Mabry will host an evening class on Nov. 18, from 4 to 11 p.m., teaching the magical art of light painting. Learn techniques to photograph the color-tinged vineyards and the historic stone buildings as night falls. If the evening is clear, students might capture a star field. Mabry will share his expertise, including tips and techniques on camera settings and equipment for creating dramatic and surreal evening images. Light refreshments will be served.

Meet in the Ranch parking lot to the right of the entry kiosk. Fee is $75. Space is limited and advance registration is required. Reserve online at jacklondonpark.com/beauty-ranch-photo.html. This class takes place on uneven terrain; for more information about access call 938-5216.
