“Jesus and His Jewish Influences"

St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church

Wednesday April 25th 2018 - 10:00am to

St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church in Kenwood is currently offering two educational programs for everyone in the community.

On Wednesdays for the next four weeks, learn about “Jesus and His Jewish Influences.” Classes begin with viewing a short lecture by Dr. Jodi Magness, professor of Early Judaism at the University of North Carolina and noted archaeologist working in a number of sites in Israel. Each lecture is followed by conversation about the week’s topic, led by George Hunt, retired Bishop of the state of Rhode Island and St. Patrick’s parishioner. Classes start at 10 a.m. in the Common Room behind the church. Dates are April 18 and 25, and May 2 and 9.

St. Patrick’s is located at 9000 Sonoma Hwy. in Kenwood, across from the fire station. For more information go to stpatrickskenwood.org or call the church at 833-4228.
