Volunteers needed for trail work in Annadel

Trione-Annadel State Park

Monday December 17th 2018 - 9:00am to

On Saturday, Dec. 17, join volunteers from the Sonoma County Trails Council (SCTC) to help maintain trails in Trione-Annadel State Park. SCTC will provide tools and trained crew leaders to help volunteers work on Richardson Trail, filling the depressions on the road around Lake Ilsanjo with gravel to get rid of the winter mud puddles. Meet at 9 a.m. at the south end of Channel Drive at the main Annadel parking lot (Warren Richardson Trail) and expect work to last until 1 p.m. Look for the white SCTC tool trailer. SCTC will provide parking passes, tools, and Clif bars, with Lagunitas and Guayaki beverages afterwards.

Bring gloves, a hat and water that you can take with you while working, and wear long pants, boots or sturdy shoes and sunscreen or rain jacket depending on the weather.

In order to make sure there are enough tools and after-work beverages, RSVP to trailscouncil@sonic.net if you plan to attend.
