Glen Ellen-Kenwood Rotary meeting
Wednesday June 19th 2019 -
Have you been wondering how you can give back to your community?
“Service above Self” is the motto of Rotary International, a worldwide service organization focused on helping others. You can find out more by visiting the Rotary Club of Glen Ellen-Kenwood, which meets on the first and third Wednesdays of the month, 5:30-7 p.m. at the Kenwood Depot, 314 Warm Springs Road.
Your first meeting is free, and after that it’s $10. Hors d’oeuvres are served, there’s a no-host bar, and you’ll always hear an interesting speaker.
The Rotary Club of Glen Ellen-Kenwood has been involved in a number of local and international service projects, ranging from homeless assistance, supporting teen programs and fire relief efforts right here in Sonoma Valley, to helping improve water systems in Latin America.
Rotary is open to men and women of all ages – if you want to make a difference in your community, check out the Rotary Club of Glen Ellen-Kenwood.
June 5 – Raine Howe, Executive Director of the Polly Klaas Foundation
June 19 – Anastasia Pryor, Director of Development and Communications for Conservation Corps North Bay. A nonprofit organization with one simple goal: to engage and empower youth by teaching them to cultivate and preserve the environment. Every year, its youth corps maintains miles of trails, restores acres of habitat, plants thousands of native trees and shrubs, and collects hundreds of thousands of pounds of recycling.
